Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary news european commission brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
